What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

With the right fabrics the first design for today could become a giant flower.

I like the second design!

The centre of the one above is crying out for lots of quilting, or perhaps just some quilting to fill the space around an applique.

The one above is interesting.

Another one with an empty centre circle … but this time there is a block out of place near one of the corners! I should have learned by now to keep the best till last … not the mistake.

The design above uses just three of those colorings.

The second design has four different colorings, and I love it.

Not terribly excited by the colours, but the design appeals to me.

I haven’t used many of my favourite sort of colours in any of my Log Cabin projects but I am thinking that I just might have to start a new Log Cabin project file with my favourites.

More Log Cabin designs mid week, next week!

Interesting start to this week’s mini break from the day to day routine, if only for the fact that it is a day late! It feels like life is starting to get back to a mad rush, but I am still enjoying the slower pace of life over the last few months.

If I was making the design above I would be very tempted to put some applique around the centre. It could also be space for the quilting to shine, but I think applique would work better.

Very dainty! Not something I would say about many Log Cabin ...

Middle of the week, time for a short coffee retreat from the daily grind. So let’s look at some Log Cabin designs!

The TNT in the title of this project file is shorthand for Thick and Thin, also known as Curved Log Cabin.
